Abstract

The paper analyzes the main trends of evolution of  the global economic system and its interaction with the natural system. It is stated that sciech progress breaks new grounds for replacement of non-regenerative natural resources by other types of sources, introducing new environmentally friendly technologies and thus avoiding the transition into the phase of entropic oscillating cycle.
