ЕМПІРИЧНІ ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ЗАКОНУ ОУКЕНА ВІДНОСНО ЕКОНОМІКИ ГРЕЦІЇ

Метою цієї статті є дослідження впливу закону Оукена на економіку Греції в період 1960–2007 років. Результати аналізу моделі «першої різниці» свідчать про обернену пропорційність між рівнем безробіттям та приростом ВВП. Хоча кількісні показники Закону Оукена та форма цієї пропорційності у випадку Греції цілковито відрізняються від показників стосовно інших країн Євросоюзу. Це частково пояснюється невідповідністю між темпами зростання виробництва у Греції та інших країнах ЄС [Франція та Іспанія]. Більше того, перевірки, проведені з використанням фіктивної змінної, свідчать про те, що коефіцієнт Оукена для Греції в період з 1980 до 2007 року відрізняється від коефіцієнта періоду 1960–1980 років. Зрештою, для порядкової змінної k = 2, застосовуємо тест причинності Клайва Грейнджера, який показує, що log ВВП Грейнджера (LNGDP) спричиняє безробіття (UN).
